Scanautomatic 2026 – Making Connections in Sweden
Strengthening Vikinor’s presence in Sweden and building new connections across industrial automation.
From 20–22 October, Vikinor exhibited at Scanautomatic 2026 in Gothenburg, Sweden, a key meeting place for industrial automation, bringing together companies, technologies and solutions from across the industry.
Scanautomatic provided an excellent opportunity to boost brand awareness and strengthen local connections. Our Swedish sales team engaged with prospective customers, discussing their applications, technical requirements and opportunities for collaboration.
One of the clearest takeaways was the strong demand for stainless steel enclosures, particularly for outdoor applications within food and beverage, marine, offshore and water treatment industries. At our booth, we showcased our VOB and VHB enclosure ranges, offering IP66-rated protection against dust and powerful water jets. Available in stainless steel and AluZinc steel, these enclosures combine durability, flexibility and reliability for demanding industrial applications.
Our conversations highlighted a growing need for greater flexibility in cabinet design and dimensions, alongside shorter lead times and local stockholding – an area where Vikinor is well-positioned to meet customer needs through our stocking capabilities in Copenhagen.

A particular highlight was our EEM modular electrical enclosure system, showcased as a fully equipped unit featuring integrated lighting, sensors, racks and other components. The EEM demonstrated how flexible internal layouts and component integration can create a complete application-ready solution tailored to different customer needs.
While enclosures were the main focus, energy-efficient cooling remains an important part of Vikinor’s offering. With new refrigerant options such as R1234yf, a low-GWP alternative to traditional refrigerants, Vikinor is responding to evolving European environmental requirements, including EU F-gas regulations.
Alongside these developments, the EU Cyber Resilience Act is introducing new cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements. As European industries prepare for these changes, Vikinor remains focused on supporting customers with reliable, future-oriented enclosure and cooling solutions that address evolving technical and regulatory expectations.
Beyond industrial automation, we identified promising opportunities across utilities, energy infrastructure, marine applications and edge data centers, reinforcing the versatility of Vikinor’s enclosure and cooling solutions.
