Climate Shields protect batteries and other valuable equipment to ensure durability and long lifetime – and make savings on OPEX. Delivered as flat-pack - easy to install.

The VIKINOR climate shields are designed as flexible, lightweight structures that are easy-to-install in indoor environments as part of introducing two-temperature-zones cooling systems or physically protect equipment.

The climate shields are typically provided with Vikinor DC-powered air conditioners and operated to ensure ideal temperature conditions for a long battery or equipment lifetime while at the same time operating the shelter at relatively higher temperatures to reduce power consumption.

The control of the climate shield is embedded in the Vikinor VAK air conditioners that have functionality for hydrogen venting. The climate shields thereby enables OPEX savings in terms of battery and equipment replacement cost and power consumption.

A special designed version of the climate shields is available as an anti-theft proof cabinet with integrated cooling system to protect batteries from any unauthorized  access (theft protection) and vandalism attempt.

CLIMATE SHIELD

The series of VCS climate shields are provided as an on-site assembly kit for easy installation around existing equipment or battery racks. The climate shield is assembled from inside and is provided with lockable door-lock. The climate shield are as standard provided with DC-powered venting system and can be combined with the Vikinor VAK air conditioner series or the Vikinor VHC or VHX heat exchanger series.
