VIKINOR’s series of air conditioners provide best-in-class energy-efficiency for active cooling of enclosures and shelters/containers.

 

The broad range of both AC-powered and DC-powered air conditioners are designed from the smallest air conditioners used for battery cabinet cooling, to the medium size air conditioners typically used for larger outdoor telecom cabinets, automation control cabinets or small telecom shelters, and to the larger size high-capacity shelters and small modular data centers. The complete range of DC-powered air conditioners are designed as “pure-DC” to ensure best energy-efficiency and lowest OPEX and TCO for the products.

 

With a standard 10 years design lifetime the air conditioners are designed, built, and tested to provide optimal reliability during the lifetime of the products even under harsh environmental conditions. Should there be a need for increased corrosion resistance, endurance of grid instability, lowering noise emission, upgrading of filter systems, etc, then a comprehensive option set is available for the product series

 

Our AC powered Air Conditioners are designed according to CE, RoHs and are certified with UL/cUL. The DC powered Air Conditioners are designed similarly and are currently undergoing UL/cUL certification.

VAK SLIM series air conditioners; DC and AC powered

 

The VAK series of air conditioners is designed for high energy-efficiency (EER). All models in the entire product series are available as both AC-powered and DC-powered models with identical dimensions and mounting.

 

The product is based on a slim design ensuring optimal fitting on a cabinet door or on a shelter / container and are designed for industrial applications with flexible integration and reliable operation.

Cooling capacity: From 300 W (1000 BTU/h) to 5000W

(17000 BTU/h)

 

Ambient tempe. range: From -40°C (-40 F) to 55°C (131 F)

 

Refrigerant: R134a / R410c

 

Power supply: DC (48VDC), AC (1 x 115VAC, 60Hz or

1 x 230VAC, 50/60Hz)

 

Mounting: Standard as outside mounted, optional

with use of mounting frame

VAS Series - Split Unit Air Conditioners

 

The VAS series of air conditioners is designed for high energy-efficiency (EER) and models are designed as pure-DC split-unit air conditioners (DC-series) and DC-inverter driver (AD series).

 

The product is designed as a traditional split-unit configuration for easy installation on telecom shelter / container or for small modular data center and are designed for industrial applications and reliable operation.

 

Technical highlights:

 

Cooling capacity: From 3500 W (12000BTU/h)

to 5000W (17000 BTU/h)

 

Ambient temp. range: From -40°C (-40 F) to 55°C (131 F)

 

Refrigerant for DC series: R134a

Refrigerant for AD series: R140a

 

Power supply DC series: 48 VDC

Power Supply AD series: 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz

 

Mounting: Mounted as a split-unit air

conditioner with an indoor unit

and an outdoor unit

VAF Series - Wall Mounted Air Conditioners with Free Cooling

 

The series of VAF air conditioners is designed for high energy-efficiency (EER) and are based on an AC-powered air conditioner with a DC-powered free-cooling functionality for both energy-saving purpose and for emergency cooling.

 

The product is design for outside wall mounting on telecom shelters and containers for small modular data centers based on standard mounting interface, and is equipped with a comprehensive controls system for both site controls, product operations and remote management.

 

 

Technical highlights:

 

Cooling capacity: 7000 W (24000 BTU/h / 2 TR) to 10500 W

(Air Conditioner) (36000 BTU/h / 3 TR)

 

Cooling capacity: From 700 W/K (389 W/F) to 1000 W/K

(Free-cooling) (556 W/F)

 

Ambient temp. range: From -40°C (-40 F) to 55°C (131 F)

 

Refrigerant: R134a

The VAR series of air conditioners is designed for high energy-efficiency (EER) and all models are designed as AC split-unit air conditioners.

 

The product is designed as a traditional split-unit configuration for easy installation in datacenter racks.

Ambient temp. range: From -20°C to 40°C

 

Refrigerant: R134a

 

Power supply: 3x400 VAC or 1x230 VAC
